I think my favourite moment(s) are from attending conferences and getting to meet people from all over the world that are doing some great maths. My favourite conference so far was one in Sydney (Australia) which was for Mathematical Biology

With some friends I started running a conference for people who do maths communication, called Talking Maths in Public (TMiP). There are lots of maths academic conferences out there, lots of conferences for people who do more general STEM communication, and even similar things internationally, but there wasn’t anything specifically for people who do maths outreach/educational or public activities in the UK to share their ideas and skills, so we decided to start something. TMiP has run twice now and we try really hard to make it interesting, useful and as inclusive as we can. We have had some really positive feedback and I’m so glad we’ve helped people and made a difference.
