Thankfully no. I’d love to be on the radio though (or make a podcast), or even on do a stand up comedy act on stage some day.

I went to the filming of the TV show ‘Children in Need’ when I was at school, but I was only on screen for two seconds in a massive audience.

I was on Blockbusters when I was in the sixth form. I’ve also been on the radio a couple of times.

I was a contributor to Lecture 1 of Hannah Fry’s Christmas Lectures in 2019. My contribution was about how chance is important in infectious disease transmission, and how vaccines can change the chance of getting infected. The infection we used to demonstrate this was zombie infection!!

I have also done some podcasts, and talks (TEDxThessaloniki) and videos that are online. It’s really fun and valuable to explain how infectious disease modelling works, and how we can study the impact of vaccines in populations.
