I got mine by a combination of natural talent at maths, working hard (especially in Spanish, in which I was muy mal) and being lucky enough to have supportive parents and teachings.

If you want to improve your grades, the only thing you can change easily is how much work you put into the subject. Read your notes, practise questions, make flashcards, watch youtube tutorials on bits you don’t understand, get books out of your local library – whatever works for you.

But also remember that work isn’t the only factor. I worked really hard in Spanish, but it got me a B not an A. Maybe I could have worked even harder, but then I wouldn’t have had time to relax and eat and sleep and be as healthy as I can. It is about finding a compromise between how well you want to do and keeping yourself happy and healthy.

      Good luck!

The best way to do well is to study hard, practice makes perfect! Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you are struggling
