• Question: How does art link with math?

      Different geometric shapes and fractals come to my mind.

      Also, music is art and it is connected with maths (duration of a sound, rhythm, pitch — the pitch difference between C and #F is square root of two, so if you play them together, you can kind of hear the square root of two).

      Maths is a really creative subject! I work in statistics and that’s really about finding patterns – the patterns quite literally make shapes, which are called things such as distributions or surfaces.
