I haven’t a clue to be honest, but I am very curious to see what role computers play in the development of maths over the next decade.

I’m biased, but I think data science will change hugely. We’re now collecting enormous datasets routinely, and computing power is also still increasing very quickly. We are trying to catch up, and make our models more realistic. This isn’t just of interest to academics, as companies and governments are also very keen to exploit AI/big data/algorithms.

Good question. I think that computers will play a big role, especially the algorithms that allow technology to recognise people/animals/diseases as it has so many applications.
