I’ve always loved David Attenborough and he has had an absolutely amazing career. We all know that’s done incredible work producing natural history programmes but he’s also done a huge amount of work communicating a huge variety of other topics to the public. He’s also the person responsible for bringing the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures to television as a complete series on BBC2, himself delivering the lectures in 1973.

Otherwise, it sounds like I’m sucking up but Hannah Fry is an amazing role model, incredibly knowledgable about maths and importantly, understands how humans need to be considered as part of the equation. She also has an amazing ability to talk about maths in a way that anyone can appreciate, plus she’s just super lovely.
